VIP Nails is an up and coming salon that was established here in Durango, CO. in 2009. We utilize eight cutting edge, pipeless spa pedicure chairs and eight manicure stations to accommodate large groups or parties. Our salon is based on the belief that our customers' needs are of the utmost importance. Our entire team is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals.

We strive to be more knowledgeable, to learn new and latest techniques in our industry, and continue education in our field.

Our pedicure chairs are pipeless. What does that mean? Pipeless chairs are equipped with rotating mechanisms that whirlpool the water in the foot basin. Because there are no pipes, there is less chance for bacteria to build up in the system. Pipes do supply water to the basin, but it is only fresh water that has not been contaminated with bacteria or other harmful materials. Stagnant water that contains harmful and sometimes deadly bacteria is non-existent when a pipeless chair is used during a VIP pedicure. Each chair is then disinfected and clean by anti-bacterial solution after each client.

We utilized autoclave ( hospital grade ), which is a high temperature sterilizer used for disinfecting all our implements, in addition we also use UV-heat sterilization cabinets to further disinfect our implements. A sealed packet of sterilized implements is then opened in front of each client for each service.
